Central Park Plaza (now the DUO) -Omaha + Brick Street Station (for Patty Reisz)
The Duo:
This building was originally known as Central Park Plaza, an office building that at one time served as headquarters for Conagra. The drawings in the gallery show the Tax Increment Financing package / scope. After approximately a year of feasibility and pre-design, NuStyle “switched gears” to begin design documents with Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture as the architect of record. The project is currently under construction.
Brick Street Station:
A woman with a dream, a love for her historic town, and a historic gas station were the perfect ingredients to enable the renovation of the Brick Street Station on the Old Lincoln Highway. Having rented space on Main Street (aka Walker) in Woodbine, Iowa, Patty Reisz wanted to revitalize this historic structure on a prime corner lot. Her vision of a “comprehensive” realty office, complete with engineer, title specialist, accountant, administration and other team members would make this a one-stop office serving the realty needs of the region. Construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2025, with completion in the Fall.
